TRASA urban arts collective’s Project Support Program is proud to present TANGENT, a site specific dance performance by the Kaser Dance Ensemble.  Performed by Chris DelPorto, Amanda Howland, Erin Kaser, Casey Rathunde, and Jersey Reo Reimo, TANGENT is that point where different lives touch but do not intersect.

Through a series of solo vignettes, the Kaser Dance Ensemble provides an intimate portrait of five individuals whose stories appear completely unrelated and reveals how, either through accident or intent, our actions affect people we don’t even know.  A unique series of events unfolds as the audience travels through the space with the performers.  Take advantage of the opportunity to view performance from a new perspective.

About the Artist
Since receiving her BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah, Erin Kaser has continued to perform and present her choreography at every opportunity.  Her work has been supported by the Utah Arts Council and the Salt Lake City Arts Council.  This is the premiere performance of the Kaser Dance Ensemble, a company focusing on site-specific choreography as a means to reveal personal history of both the performers and the audience.
