Having just completed a successful premier at the New York International Fringe Festival, Movement Forum and select members of Rowland Hall St. Marks Dance Company will present the Game on September 7th and 8th, 2007 at 7 pm at the Larimer Center for the Performing Arts. Drawing from a lot of skill and a little luck, Movement Forum transforms the ordinary dance concert into a true one of a kind experience. By combining game show antics and dance improvisation with a street performer's flair, the Game depicts real play in real-time. Watch as each night a new winner emerges, resulting from split-second decisions, risky alliances, and audience approval. What you will see has not been choreographed.

Movement Forum’s professionally trained dancers showcase their breath of diversity in dance styles while highlighting the craft of instant art. Company members are Juan Aldape, Graham Brown, Chris DelPorto, Sofia Gorder, Danell Hathaway, Stephanie Hodgeman, Erin Kaser, Jersey Rio Riemo, and Eileen Rojas. Special guests include the voice of recording artist Trevor Price and several members of Rowland Hall St. Marks Dance Company.

Be spontaneous - watch Utah's only improvisational dance company play the Game on September 7th and September 8th. Since no two shows are alike, come back a second night for round two and get 50% off the ticket price by presenting your stamped program at the door!

Movement Forum is a project of the Pickle Company and TRASA urban arts collective.  This programming is made possible through the generous support of the Salt Lake Arts Council, and the Utah Arts Council, with funding from the State of Utah and the National Endowment for the arts.
